Loon Mountain Ministry
Loon Mountain Ministry has been gathering for outdoor worship at the summit of Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH since 1990. Their mission is to love God, serve community, and enjoy mountains, and their vision is to be a center for the good news of Jesus Christ in the White Mountains. Through God’s providence and continued faithfulness, Loon Mountain Ministry has been able to plant other mountain ministries and serves as the founding ministry for Mountain Ministry.
Waterville Valley Community Church
Waterville Valley Community Church is a local community of believers that began gathering in the summer of 2019 and has grown into a movement! They gather on snow at Waterville Valley Resort during the winter and at the top of Snow’s Mountain, via a 2 person chairlift, in the summertime. Waterville Valley Community Church is a direct church plant of Loon Mountain Ministry.
Alpine Church
Alpine Church is an outdoor experiential church offering services at Gunstock Mountain Resort. Their mission is to love God, take care of each other, and to care for and enjoy creation. They accomplish this by coming together to participate in a variety of activities that they love as an outdoor community. Alpine Church is an extension of Lakes Region Vineyard Church in Laconia, New Hampshire, as part of the Vineyard Movement. Alpine Church is also a partner of Loon Mountain Ministry.
Sunday River Christian Ministry
Sunday River Christian Ministry is a partner of Loon Mountain Ministry that offers outdoor experiential worship services at Sunday River Resort in Newry, Maine. Their mission is to respect, value, and love people as Jesus does, and they are characterized as a community at play. One of their distinctive beliefs is that “our passions and hobbies delight God,” and “we can live His joy while pursuing them.”
Pleasant Mountain Ministry
Pleasant Mountain Ministry is a direct church plant of Loon Mountain Ministry sharing the love of God through outdoor trailside worship services at Pleasant Mountain in Bridgton, Maine.
Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry
Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry is a partner of Loon Mountain Ministry that gathers at Sugarloaf and ministers to the people of Carrabassett Valley, Maine. They offer both Chapel Worship and Downhill Worship.
Snowboarders & Skiers for Christ (SFC)
SFC is a global family on mission, born in 1995 in New Zealand among a group of international shredders that felt the call to “take the message to the mountains.” Now SFC lives in individuals, groups, and partner movements in 80 communities, across 15+ countries around the world seeking to “Be the Light of Jesus” in the ski and snowboard culture. SFC is also a partner of Loon Mountain Ministry.
